Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. As therapists highly trained in prenatal waxing, we are dedicated to providing a positive, supportive, and professional experience throughout your pregnancy journey.
Pregnancy is a time of incredible transformation, and you may have noticed changes in your skin and hair. Many women experience new or thicker hair growth on the body and face, which is a completely normal and temporary result of hormonal shifts. At the same time, your body is producing extra blood and fluids to support your baby, which can leave your skin feeling more sensitive than usual.
Our entire approach is built around understanding and responding to these changes, ensuring your treatment is both effective and gentle.
To ensure the well-being of you and your baby, we have a clear policy built on the highest safety standards:
Instead of a full intimate wax in the later stages, we would be delighted to help with a professional bikini line tidy-up or perform waxing on other areas of the body to help you feel your best.
Your trust is essential, and we guarantee the highest standards in every aspect of our service:
To ensure your treatment is as smooth and pain-free as possible, it is very important that we work together and you follow our professional guidance during your appointment. Our goal is to help you enjoy your self-care routine with confidence and peace of mind.
Every mother’s postpartum journey is unique, and there is no “normal” schedule for returning to routines like waxing. Whether you’re eager to get back on the waxing bed six weeks after birth, or it’s the last thing on your mind six months on, the most important thing is to do what’s right for you. When you feel ready, we’ll be here to welcome you back and ease you into it gently.
Everyone’s experience of birth and recovery is different, so there is no single perfect time. However, we require you to wait a minimum of six weeks after birth before your first waxing appointment. This allows your body essential time to heal. When you book, please let us know if you had a C-section, assisted birth, or any stitches from a tear or episiotomy, as this will affect how we approach your service.
This is the most common question we get, and it’s completely understandable to feel apprehensive. If it has been longer than your usual 4-6 week schedule, the hair roots will be more established, which can increase sensitivity. Hormonal changes, especially if you are breastfeeding, can also play a part.
While waxing is never entirely pain-free, we will do everything we can to make it as comfortable as possible. Most of our clients tell us it wasn’t nearly as bad as they had imagined and that the anticipation was worse than the reality.
Your comfort and safety are our priorities.
If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’re always here to help.
